Zoeva Rose Gold Brush Set

After a long long wait for this beautiful brushes... I finally have my hands on them and they do not disappoint! If the look of these brushes isn't enough for you with their rose gold features and classic black handles then the quality of these brushes will certainly not let you down. I am a massive fan of real techniques and Sigma brushes so was unsure on whether to take a chance on a brand I had not heard a lot about before, but I am extremely pleased I took the plunge and ordered these little gems.

Within the set which comes with it's own handy little clutch bag to keep the brushes clean, you get a variety of 8 make up brushes. This gives you a selection of brushes so you can complete an entire make up look where you don't have to reach for any other tools! Although, I think this is a brilliant set for any make up addict like myself, I also think this would be a brilliant present or starter kit purchase for someone starting out with make up so they have all the essential brushes needed.

The price for this brush kit is around the £50.00 mark depending on where you buy it from, I purchased mine from Beautybay and it came to £56.95 (http://www.beautybay.com/accessories/zoeva/rosegoldenbrushset/). Considering you get 8 brushes in the set, this is not a bad price at all. To get good quality brushes that aren't going to shed on your face as soon as you start using them I would suggest going for a brand like Zoeva, Real Techniques or Sigma. These are brands that I personally trust using and think you get amazing quality for the price of the products. I know a lot of people also like using MAC brushes as well, but I unfortunately have not tried these out for myself yet!

From left to right: 106 Powder, 102 Silk Finish, 127 Luxe Sheer Cheek, 110 Face Shape, 142 Concealer Buffer, 227 Soft Definer, 231 Petite Crease & 317 Wing Liner

106 Powder Brush - A brush which can be used for face powder, bronzer, blush or even buffing in foundation.. quite the multi tasking tool!
102 Silk Finish Brush - A beautiful dense buffing brush which can be used for blending in foundation to achieve that flawless, airbrushed finish.
127 Luxe Sheer Cheek Brush - A angled brush which is the perfect shape for blusher on the apples of the cheeks and for blending out contour.
110 Face Shape Brush - A small brush which can be used for blending in concealer, making contour outlines and highlighting the tops of the cheekbones.
142 Concealer Buffer Brush - A petite buffing brush which can be used to blend out concealer or foundation under the eyes, around the corners of the nose and in those hard to reach places!
227 Soft Definer Brush - Eye brush which can be used to pack on eyeshadow to the lid, blend out product in the crease area and blend out all eye make up to get a flawless look.
231 Petite Crease Brush - Small brush with pointed tip for blending out product in the crease and highlighting inner corners and below the brows. Can also be used to highlight cheekbones.
317 Wing Liner Brush - Perfectly shaped angled eye brush to achieve that easy winged liner look. I have also used this as an eyebrow filler which worked well.

I have cleaned these brushes a few times so far with my beauty blender solid cleanser and they have come out beautifully and dried extremely quickly. Overall, I'm so happy with this purchase and will certainly try out more of the Zoeva range.

What make up brushes do you recommend?
